A definite highlight of a recent small group food and wine tour I hosted in Emilia-Romagna. I had high expectations given the restaurant's reputation, but even they were exceeded. Every dish was interesting and unlike anything I'd had before. Service was exceptional and wines were very good. Everything was well explained to the point that the restaurant manager, Giulia, even brought some ingredients out of the kitchen to show my guests and discuss how they are sourced and used. We left very late after a very special dining experience.
You may not like Rimini, but if you like fish this place is your place.
The chef is the talented Jacopo, already a pro despite the young age. He will become a master chef soon.
His signature food is incredibly tasty dry aged fish raw or cooked on coals.
You will also find many more delicious recipes. Don’t miss grilled bone marrow with oysters (seriously).
Gran finale with a perfect Maritozzo, the quintessential Italian dessert.
I recommend ordering the sharing menu, great food and unforgettable experience.
Great wine list with many natural wines.
Expensive just as any great fish gourmet restaurant should be.
Definitely worth the trip, even if you don’t like Rimini.
The dry aged fish is interesting to try but I prefer regular sashimi. The cooked version was delicious though. I can also recommend the Tokaji for the desert. The waiters could be more attentive.
Came out rolling. Date night out. We ordered different plates to share and all was exceptional. Thr decor of the place i felt was tasteful, not over the top, and staff friendly. The menu is obviously all fish (aged fish) with geat choices. We had a few oysters to start and the cappesante, followed by the mixed fish, Ricciola and fish heart. We had to cancel another plate as we were too full, although always room for desert. The wine list is very interesting, with great natural wines. The price is what you should expect from top quality fresh food - expensive but top notch ingredients. Had an awesome night
Wonderful place with delicious food and very helpful staff. The fresh herbs and combinations of ingredients made everything just perfect. Highly recommended if you are craving delicious seafood
Innovative and very good food. Very kind personnel but could be a bit more attentive. Anyhow, we had great time, enjoyed a lot and I can only recommend!
Delicious specialty seafood. Wonderful staff. I enjoyed the course dinner menu.
The place is elegant. And the staff is very profesional and polite. A huge selection of wines. And of course… it is expensive. :)
Though the food, and especially for that price, seemed to be rather complicated than tasty. As if the chef’s target was more to impress by originality than to cook delicious food. I did not enjoy it. And that is MY opinion. Definitely a matter of taste and preference.
